Payment data notice
If CashDey ever launches payment or Pro checkout, it should collect only the minimum needed to take payment, send a receipt, and manage the paid product.

CashDey does not currently run a live checkout or subscription flow in the shipped product.
If this launches
What we would collect
Email address, transaction reference, payment timestamps, and subscription status.
What stays out of scope
Card numbers, CVV, expiry date, bank account details, BVN, and NIN.
Why
To process payment, issue receipts, and manage the paid product you chose.
Retention
Transaction records may need to stay for 7 years where Nigerian tax rules require it.

To process your payment, we collect your email address and share your transaction details with Paystack (our payment processor). Your card details are handled entirely by Paystack and never touch our servers. We store your email and subscription status to manage your Pro account. Purpose: payment processing and subscription management Retention: 7 years (required by Nigerian tax law) Your rights: access, correction, deletion via hello@cashdey.com
Your control
- You should be able to request access or correction of payment records.
- Where tax law requires retention, those records cannot be deleted early.
- CashDey should keep payment data separate from the rest of your financial picture as much as possible.
