Cookie and storage notice
CashDey keeps browser storage deliberately small. Today that means two essential HttpOnly cookies plus a few local keys for draft, cache, and consent memory on this device.
Last updated: 18 April 2026 · Consent copy v2.0
Short version
- CashDey uses two essential HttpOnly cookies: one for the active session and one for same-browser recovery.
- We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Public-page analytics stay off until you opt in on this device.
- You can clear CashDey browser data from Settings → Reset everything.

Public-page analytics
- Applies only to public pages like the landing page and legal notices.
- Does not apply to onboarding, dashboard, Coach, or other authenticated product screens.
- Uses device-level opt-in instead of an always-on tracking banner.
- Can be turned off later in Settings.
See the current scripts and local keys
CashDey currently uses these local keys on this device:
- `cashdey_profile_cache_v2`
- `cashdey_profile_draft_v2`
- `cashdey_consent_v1`
- `cashdey_analytics_consent_v1`
CashDey's current essential cookies are `cashdey_session` and `cashdey_install`.
On public pages only, and only after opt-in, CashDey may load Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity is not loaded on onboarding, dashboard, or Coach screens.
How to clear it
- Easiest: open the app and use Settings → Reset everything.
- That clears CashDey browser storage on this device and asks the server to delete app data we can remove immediately.
- You can also clear site data from your browser settings, but that is broader and may affect other sites too.
If this changes later
If CashDey ever introduces non-essential cookies beyond the current setup, this notice will be updated before those cookies are used, and the consent experience will need to change with it.
